While there are lots of meetups for lovers of poetry, information about where and when one can speak to an audience is widely dispersed and often difficult to track down. TPOM's goal is to create and maintain a regular schedule of poetry open mics where poets and poetry lovers can read their own work or that of a writer that inspires them. There is no cost to join and even if you don't want to read, TPOM invites you to join and be an audience member.

We do something a wee bit different every month. Last month it was Show 'n Tell, this month: MANNA (where everyone is invited to bring something that has extraordinary value to them and to no one else.) Next month? Who knows? Triad Poetry Meetup is a group where any poet or lover of the Arts can suggestively schedule events however only an organizer can actually schedule events, promote events  or post literary announcements as events for residents of the Piedmont Triad as well as those visiting our region of the state of North Carolina.
